Privacy policy

FlagSlate is a flag football playbook maker. You can draw, organize and print plays without an account, and your plays stay in your browser. Google Analytics runs by default and you can turn it off at any time.

Your plays stay in your browser

Plays, playbooks, notes, call numbers and print settings are saved in your browser's local storage on this device. They are not sent to us. Clearing site data removes them, which is why the tool offers Export backup. A backup file is created on your device and goes only where you put it.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. Every request discloses technical information such as your IP address, the requested URL, browser details and the time of the request to Cloudflare for delivery, security and operational logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-MP6KHCS3DN to see which guides and tools get used, so we know what to improve. When analytics is on, Google may process the page URL and title, the referring page, browser and device details, approximate location derived from your connection, and the standard measurements of the Google Analytics data stream.

The tool also sends a few events named after what you did: creating, copying or mirroring a play, drawing a route for the first time on a page visit, creating or copying a playbook, previewing a calibration page or print pack, opening the print dialog, and exporting or importing a backup. These events carry counts, such as how many plays are selected for printing, and fixed labels, such as which built-in example you started from. They never contain play names, notes, call numbers, email addresses or anything else you type.

Google Analytics may set first-party cookies and processes data on Google systems. The site tag turns off Google signals and ad-personalization signals, denies advertising storage, and limits the analytics cookie lifetime it sets to 180 days. Google controls its own systems and retention after receiving data. See Google's privacy policy and how Google Analytics handles data.

Your analytics choice

Analytics runs by default in every region unless you turn it off. We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping analytics off. Analytics never runs on preview or local addresses.

Use Privacy settings on this page, in the guide footer or in the tool sidebar to allow or turn off analytics. The choice is stored in local storage under flagslate-analytics-consent-v1. Permission lasts up to 180 days, after which the default applies again. Turning analytics off stays in effect until you change it or clear site data. If your browser cannot store or read the choice, analytics stays off. Changing the choice reloads the page so the tag starts or stops on the next load. Turning analytics off cannot undo data already sent.

Accounts and payments

Accounts and the paid season pass are not open on this site yet. Before they open we will update this policy to describe the account, sign-in and payment providers involved.

Contact and requests

Email hello@flagslate.com with questions about this policy or to request access, correction or deletion of information you sent us. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing or complain to your local data protection authority. For data held by Google or Cloudflare, their policies above explain how to contact them.

Do not email play files, passwords or payment details.
